Our league season finally gets underway on Saturday with a trip to Heybridge’s Aspen Waite Stadium. New signings Josh Dawkin, Sam Reed and Tobi Lawal are all in Lance’s first league squad of the season and are all in line to make their league debut’s in a Histon shirt.
We last played the Swifts on the first day of last season but that game will be one Stutes supporters will want to forget as Swifts took all three points with a 3-1 win at the Bridge. Like us though our hosts also went out of the FA Cup last weekend, beaten 2-0 at Barking so both sides will be more than keen to get the league campaign and up running quickly tomorrow.
