Max York’s 83rd minute strike secured all three points from a difficult game at Cricket Field Road this morning. We started the game brightly and the home side were dealt a blow after quarter of an hour when Jacob Partridge saw red for a foul on Joe Sutton. We didn’t make our advantage count though until 5 minutes before half time when Ed Rolph headed home at Bexfield’s cross to give us a lead at the break. Town came back strongly in the second half and were level on 70 minutes when Rhys Thorpe got clear and finished past Roach. We weren’t finished yet though and with 7 minutes left the skipper seized on a loose ball in the area to drill a low shot into the corner and send the sizeable Stutes support home happy.
