In the driving rain and gusting wind Max York put us ahead early, heading home Pat Bexfield’s free kick in the 8th minute. Liam Davis levelled for the visitors with a fine strike into the top corner on 22 minutes but just 2 minutes later Bexfield curled a corner into the near post that beat the keeper to put us back into the lead. Sam Watts levelled things up again 5 minutes before the break but straight after the restart James Chivers stabbed the ball home from close range and we were ahead again. The game was on a knife edge until with 4 minutes left on the clock Dan Brown was brought down in the area and York converted the spot kick to secure the points.
