Matt Payne’s newly formed Stutes Reserve side begin their Cambridgeshire County League, Senior B campaign on Wednesday evening as they travel to St Ives Town to take on The Saints new second string.
Payne’s side go into their first competitive outing having had a mixed pre-season, staring with a victory over neighbours Milton, before a loss against Cambridge University Press Reserves, ending on a high last week with a 7-1 victory over Cambourne Town. Featuring a number of the clubs U18 players it is hoped that his side can assist with bridging the gap between the Youth Team, and Senior football in turn allowing progression towards the clubs First Team set up.
Kick Off is at 7:45pm, with admission set at £3 for Adults, with concessions £2, u16’s FREE
