Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Tuesday 5th February 2019

We went back to the top of the table tonight after a tough game against Framlingham Town. After the first half hour it looked like were in for a comfortable evening leading 3-0 but the visitors struck back to make it 3-2 at the break and went close to levelling more than once in the second half before Max York’s penalty in added time sealed the points.

Dan Brown got us off to the perfect start with a fine volleyed finish on 7 minutes and Salim Relizani added a second 10 minutes later, finishing nicely after being put through by Ed Rolph. Evan Key headed in a third before the half hour to put us 3 clear but Danny Smith pulled one back a few minutes later and Mason Ransome struck a lovely free kick into the top corner on the stroke of half time.

Smith and Ransome continued to offer a threat after the break but deep into added time Ed Rolph was brought down in the area and York tucked away the spot kick and there was still time for Referee Alistair Wilson to send Framligham’s Simon Poacher off before the whistle blew.
