Dan Brown struck in the 4th minute of added time to secure a late late 3 points at The Ellgia Stadium this afternoon and stretch our lead over Godmanchester Rovers at the top of the table.
Evan Key gave us an early lead in the 17th minute but 5 minutes later Sam Roach was the hero as he saved a City penalty. The hosts weren’t behind for much longer though as Sam Reed equalised on 28 minutes but with time all but up at the end of the game, Dan Brown’s close range strike won us all the points.
