Biggleswade v Histon
Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round
Saturday 12th September 2020
Kick Off @ 3:00pm
The time has come and our season gets underway in the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round tomorrow when we go to Biggleswade.
Lance takes a full squad to Langford Road including new signings Josh Dawkin, Sam Reed and Tobi Lawal and lead by skipper Max York who signed a new deal this week that will keep him in place at the heart of our defence for another season.
Tickets for this game are limited due to the current capacity restrictions that are in place so supporters are strongly advised to purchase tickets in advance via Biggleswade’s online ticket portal, the link for which is below. Online sales will only be available until 12 midday tomorrow or until sold out. Any remaining capacity will be filled on the gate but if you want to be sure you will get in then get your ticket in advance!
Supporters should also familiarise themselves with the various safety measures in place at Langford Road for this game. Key points to note are:
- Face Masks must be worn by everyone inside the stadium
- Turnstiles will open at 1.45pm
- The Bar and Burger Bar will be open but subject to access restrictions as laid out in the safety pack
- If you don’t have a pre-bought ticket you may not get into the game. Capacity is limited and cash on the gate walk-ups will get in on a first come first served basis. If you hope to get access in this way PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT MONEY WITH YOU.
Further information can be found in the Supporters’s Safety Pack available on the Biggleswade club website, link below.
Please remember that you will need to wear a face mask whilst at the ground so don’t forget to take one with you. If you’d like to get hold of a Histon FC Face Mask (pictured left) then please put your order in via the online Club Shop here and choose the “pick up from club” delivery option. We will have staff in the club office on Saturday morning from 11am until around 12 midday for you to pick your order up on the way to the game.
As the season is about to start we want to extend our thanks again to all of our supporters for your help in getting us through a difficult summer so far and helping to get us in shape both on and off the pitch as we target a good season ahead of us. For those that are going to the game tomorrow we look forward to seeing you there and for those who can’t get there we look forward to seeing you at The Bridge soon!
One final thing to say is that there will be no extra time tomorrow. Should the scores be level after 90 minutes then we’ll go straight to a penalty shoot-out and, if we’re in it, the draw for the next Round will be made by 1pm on Monday afternoon.
Driving time from Bridge Road approx. 40 minutes (28 miles).
