The Parker family have asked us to publish the following message:
The family of Stephen “Stevo” Parker would like to thank everyone associated with Histon Football Club for all the very kind messages and cards of support they have received and especially for the generosity of the donations received for the Head and Neck Cancer Foundation. £265 was raised at Stephen’s Celebration of life at Cambridge Crematorium and a further £330 raised afterwards from Stephen’s last raffle held in the HFC Bar.
Almost impossible to thank everyone but we would like to say a special thanks to the HFC Board for their support and for making the bar available, to Amanda and Vic for taking care of everyone on the day and for the hundreds of cups of tea, and to Josh and Graham for their lovely memories of our son.
We have been totally overwhelmed by the support we have received and out of this tragedy it’s reassuring to know that Stephen leaves such a positive and loving memory with so many.
