We had to survive a second half comeback in order to secure our first points of the season in an entertaining game at Julius Martin Lane last night. Lee Smith’s free kick and Max York’s header had given us an early two goal lead before Ed Rolph added a third ten minutes into the second half. The Greens came back strongly though and Matty Allan reduced the arrears with twenty minutes to go before Sam Mulready’s 86th minute penalty set up a frantic finale but the team stood firm to see the game out and put our first points of this campaign on the board.
