HISTON v SOHAM TOWN RANGERS
Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division
Saturday 25th September 2021
Kick off @ 3.00pm

Match Sponsored by Janet Wilkinson
Match Ball sponsored by Jenny & Mick Wells

On Saturday we welcome Soham Town Rangers to Bridge Road as we lock horns once again in league action, albeit it in a new league for both clubs.

We last met at the Bridge almost exactly a year ago when the visitors took all three points, Ed Rolph’s second half strike not enough as we went down to a 1-2 defeat. The previous season we met twice although only one of those was a league game due to that season’s enforced early finish.  Lee Smith, Max York and Ed Rolph scored to give us all three points at Julius Martin Lane in August 2019 while James Chivers’ late goal gave us a point in the Isthmian League Cup Group Stage game in October that year.

Both sides have found life hard in our new league so far this season but Town got their first win of the season over Daventry Town on Saturday courtesy of Sam Mulready’s goal early in the second half.

We are happy to confirm that many of the restrictions we were previously working under at the stadium have now been lifted but PLEASE continue to respect our staff and each other by taking care, respecting social distancing measures and wearing a face covering when you go into the bar. We would also appreciate as many supporters as possible from both sides purchasing tickets online in advance via our match ticket site as this speeds up the process of getting into the ground and means that our volunteer staff need to handle less cash. The process is simple just bring the eTicket along with you on your phone (or print it out if you prefer) and show it to our get staff for them to scan and that’s it, you’re in!

Once you’re in you will be able to access the bar (please wear a face covering though) and Vic’s burger bar will be open for you to get one of his now-legendary burgers or fishfinger rolls (amongst other things).
