On Saturday we are in for another big game and this time we welcome Halesowen Town to The Bridge for our next Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division game.

The Yeltz are second in the league at the moment and have lost just two of their fifteen league games so far, an impressive first half of the season there’s no doubt about that. Those two defeats came in their last three games and both at The Grove, 0-2 against Coleshill Town last weekend and 0-1 against Ilkeston Town last month with Ilkeston now replacing Halesowen at the top of the table. With those two defeats being at home it is obviously true to say that the Yeltz remain unbeaten on their travels so far with only Loughborough Dynamo and Stamford able to stop them from taking all three points home again them.

It goes without saying when taking all that into consideration that this game provides another very stern test for our lads but the performances over the last few weeks, including that fightback last weekend to take a point off Stamford, have given Stutes supporters some optimism for the fight ahead and the team a growing belief.

Evan Key, Bernat Burguera and Andy Ballester are all back in training and may be in contention to return this weekend. If so then Lance’s team selection will provide him with plenty of food for thought and as we continue to fight for every point we will need your support so join us at Bridge Road if you can, kick off is at 3pm.

Help us to speed up entry into the ground by getting your tickets in advance through our online ticket site. Once you have an eTicket it’s just a simple scan when you get here and you’re in, no more standing in the cash turnstile queue! We are also able to take contactless payment but if you want to pay cash then that is fine too, just remember that the cash turnstile can get a bit busy as we near kick-off so try and get here in good time.

And don’t forget that we are collecting boxes of mince pies and tins of biscuits on behalf of The Cambridgeshire Volunteer Bikers both at this game and at the Sporting Khalsa game in a couple of weeks time. The Bikers will then deliver these items to senior citizens and disabled young adults in assisted care facilities across the county, all whilst dressed as Santa of course! Read more on this here and if you’re able to bring something along with you we’ll have a collection point just inside the turnstile for you to drop your donation off at.

See you there!

Kick-off at 3pm.

Turnstiles open at 1.30pm

Tickets available here.
