HALESOWEN TOWN v HISTON
Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division
Saturday 2nd April 2022
Kick off @ 3.00pm

We head to The Grove today, home of title and promotion-chasing Halesowen Town as our fight to preserve Step 4 status continues with just four games left after this one to make that happen.

As you would expect from a team who are right in the mix for the big prizes this season, The Yeltz are in decent form although a three game winless run in March saw them slip three points behind Ilkeston Town and Chasetown with bang in form Stamford now only three points behind. Last weekend’s 6-1 demolition of Soham got them back to winning ways in style and with both of us in urgent need of points today’s game is going to be a big one.

Last weekend’s win over Loughborough Dynamo at The Bridge obviously helped our league position look a bit better and if we can maintain our form then we can give ourselves every chance of at least a play-off place. Andy Ballester has returned to light training this week although today’s game is likely too early to see the Spanish defender back in action, whilst Danny Gould remains out.

There are still some spaces available on the team coach for supporters who want to travel with the team. We’re leaving from Bridge Road at 11.30am and a place on the coach costs £15.
