Histon FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Nunn as our new First Team Manager.
Many Histon supporters will be aware of the new manager, who joins us after leaving AFC Rushden & Diamonds yesterday, from his time at Biggleswade Town where he spent 14 years, taking them from Step 5 and establishing them at Step 3. He left the Waders in January 2022 and joined Kempston Rovers later that year before joining Diamonds in December.
The new Gaffer will take charge of the team for Saturday’s game at Daventry Town with Matt Payne alongside him.
Chairman John Hall had this to say after confirming the appointment “The board are delighted to have secured the services of Chris Nunn as First Team Manager. His wealth of experience and achievements are hard to match and he is the ideal appointment to take this club up the leagues. The board will do everything in their power to make that a reality and we really look forward to working with him.
I must take this opportunity to thank Lance, Mark and Simon for their excellent commitment over the past 7 years and also to Matt Payne, Lee Keen and Craig Galbraith for stepping in so valiantly whilst we found a permanent replacement.”
