Skipper Max York dribbled past a number of Gorleston defenders before being brought down in the area and converting the penalty himself to put us ahead against Gorleston this afternoon at The Glassworld. Casey Phillips powered home a header soon after to double the lead and we went in to the break 2 up.

The visitors threatened a comeback in the second half but keeper Luke Knight saved a 53rd minute penalty (his third penalty save in the last two games) to preserve the lead. We made a number of chances to increase the lead but weren’t able to convert whilst Gorleston came close a couple of times on the break.

Max York sends the keeper the wrong way, 1-0.

Casey Phillips heads home to double the lead, 2-0.

Luke Knight saves yet another penalty to keep us 2-0 up.
