It was all square after 90 minutes of enthralling cup-tie football at Bridge Road on Saturday, so we try again at Thetford Town’s Lomax Spiral Systems Stadium in Mundford Road this Tuesday evening with a 7.45 kick-off. Thetford looked the more lively for much of the first half on Saturday, but goals from Joe Greenslade-Cross and Connor Barnes gave us a slender lead before Thetford took the game to a replay with a 79th minute equaliser. The Stutes side on Tuesday is likely to include Danny Baulk, who can now make his highly anticipated Histon debut after serving the last of his three-match suspension on Saturday.
If you are travelling to Thetford for the replay, admission will cost you £8 for adults, £4 for concessions and £2 for under 16-year-olds. The car park at the ground is for club officials only, but parking is available at the Healthy Living Centre, Croxton Road, IP24 1JD.
The game will go to extra time followed by penalties if a winner cannot be found inside ninety minutes, and with prize money of £1,600 up for grabs for the winners, a night of tension and high drama is almost guaranteed.
