Another excellent away performance saw us take all three points at Canvey Island yesterday. We went into the game without the suspended Ed Rolph and Pat Bexfield and also without Danny Gould through illness so Lance was forced into making a number of changes. George Coy came back in to the side and 16 year old Ben Landshoff made his senior league debut at number 7.
Max York put us ahead from the penalty spot after 19 minutes and three minutes later, Simon Swinton doubled the lead with a strike from the edge of the area. Soon after the break Dan Brown grabbed his 13th goal of the season to put is three to the good and ease any concerns over a second half comeback from the home side.
