Cambs Invitation Cup Quarter-Final
Tuesday 26th November 2019
We bowed out of the Invitation Cup tonight after Jarid Robson and Michael Gyasi scored either side of half time to see City through. We had our chances in the first half but couldn’t find a way past Dan George in the City goal.
Lance was able to give Lewis McDonald, Lee Smith and Evan Key their first starts in over two months as the trio continue to gain fitness after injury whilst Under 18’s forward Owen Mullee made his debut as a second half sub.
City go through to play either Whittlesey Athletic or Soham Town Rangers who meet tomorrow night.
