A late own goal saw our long unbeaten league run come to an end at Notcutts Park yesterday afternoon. We had gone ahead in the first half after a bizarre own goal when Alfie Stronge was given little chance by a back pass from one of his own defenders. After the floodlights had gone out in the second half with nearly half an hour still to play, Jake Green rose high in the gloom to head home the equaliser on 77 minutes before with 5 minutes left under partially restored lights, a Carlos Edwards free kick glanced off a Histon head and into the far corner for what proved to be the winner.
