Our Under 18s sealed their second league title in three years with a come-from-behind 2-1 win at Royston Town last night. Going into the break one down, second half strikes from Dawid Siek and Elliot Mills were enough to claim the three points and with it the Eastern Counties Youth League South West Division title.
Everyone at the club is delighted to congratulate manager Alfie Oakman and his squad on a fine achievement in a season in which they remained unbeaten in the league.
We can however confirm that manager Alfie Oakman will be leaving the club at the end of the season after communicating his desire to move on some months ago. Whilst we are sorry to see him go, he can look back with pride on three very successful seasons that included two league titles as well as numerous players progressing into the Reserves and First Team. We wish him every success in his future endeavours.
