We slipped to a heavy defeat at the Brentwood Centre Arena yesterday afternoon as the home side registered their first league win of the season at our expense.
In a frantic opening to the game Tami Babalola gave the home side a 5th minute lead only for Dan Brown to level the scores 2 minutes later. Reece Tranter soon restored Romford’s lead and Babalola got his second and Romford’s third after 22 minutes.
Histon hopes of a second half comeback were dashed within a minute of the restart when Giovanni Palmer made it 4-1 and it was Palmer again on 64 minutes who made it 5.
