It’s been an incredible season for Histon Football Club. Our Men’s First team put up a sustained fight for promotion in Mark Critoph and Matt Payne’s first season as joint managers. In addition, our Ladies side won all 22 of their league matches to win the ERWFL Division 1 North by a country mile and our under 18s won their section of the Thurlow Nunn Youth League for the second year running. Off the pitch, we finished the season debt-free and well poised to fund another promotion challenge in 2026/27. We even managed to raise £2,000 for our charity partners at the Arthur Rank Hospice.
But we are not done yet with the 2025/26 season. On Wednesday night our Ladies side take on Cambridge United Ladies in the Cambs FA Women’s Invitation Cup Final at Cambridge City’s FWD-IP Community Stadium in Sawston. This is our last chance until next season to support the Stutes and your backing would be greatly appreciated as we look to round off the season with another trophy for the club. Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
And, to mark the end of such an enjoyable season, you are invited to attend our Player Of The Year Awards evening at Bridge Road on Saturday 9th May. The doors open at 6.30pm with the awards being presented from 7.00pm. We would love to see as many of our sponsors, volunteers and supporters as possible on the night so make a note in your diary and join us for one last appreciation of a wonderful season.
