Skipper Max York’s well taken 88th minute winner sent the big Boxing Day crowd home happy at Bridge Road this afternoon as we took all three points against City.
On a tough afternoon the teams had to contend with a difficult pitch and driving rain in the second half and it looked like the points were going to be shared until Ed Rolph’s header came back off the bar into the path who York who struck a sweet right footed shot past Dan George to secure our third win on the spin and take us up into the play-off places.
