Two each for Sean Marks and Freddie King saw AFC Sudbury take all the points from yesterday’s game at Bridge Road. Marks opened the scoring with a header past Peachey in the 17th minute before King took advantage of a lapse at the back to round the keeper and double the visitors’ lead.

Lance brought on Danny Gould at half time and the midfielder halved the arrears within a couple of minutes, surging forward to unleash an unstoppable left footed shot into the far corner and it looked like we might have a way back into the game. Had Simon Swinton’s header found the target with 20 minutes left things may have been different but it wasn’t to be on this occasion and as we pushed forward with the clock running down the impressive young Sudbury side took full advantage with King and Marks both scoring again in the latter stages to seal the win.
