Ed Rolph scored twice to extend our unbeaten run to 7 games but we had to work hard to overcome stubborn resistance from the home side who were down to ten men after half an hour when ex-Stute Cameron Watson was red carded for bringing down Rolph.
Rolph headed us ahead on 77 minutes but it wasn’t until deep in added time that the striker doubled his tally to make sure of the points.
In a swirling wind Sam Roach had to be alert to keep out Ally Conway’s free kick that was moving around and heading for the top corner. 0-0.
32 minutes gone and Boro are down to 10 men as Cameron Watson brings down Ed Rolph.
The deadlock is broken with 77 minutes on the clock. Rolph heads home Lee Smith’s angled free kick, 1-0.
All three points are secured in added time when Rolph breaks quickly to go through one on one against the keeper, 2-0.
