Whilst we still await the announcement of the league fixtures for 2026/27, we can confirm that the draw has taken place for three cup competitions involving our Men’s First Team ahead of the start of the new season.
Firstly, we have been drawn to play Brightlingsea Regent of the Isthmian League North at home in the First Preliminary Round of the FA Cup. The tie will take place on Saturday 8th August with the winners bagging £1,125 from the prize fund and a home game against Cornard Utd or Downham Town in the next round.
In the First Round Qualifying of the FA Vase we have been given an away draw against Lance Key’s Soham Town Rangers. This match will take place on 15th August with a 3.00pm kick-off. The winners will take on Norwich United away in the next round.
To complete the early season cup draws, it has been confirmed that our opponents in the UCL League Cup Preliminary Round will be Blackstones of the Premier Division North. This tie will take place at Bridge Road on Saturday 26th September.
