The United Counties League have released the first three fixtures for the 2026/27 campaign. We now know that we will start the season with a home match against Rugby Town on Saturday 25th July. We will then visit Eynesbury Rovers for our first local derby of the season on Tuesday 28th July before entertaining UCL newcomers Coton Green on Saturday 1st August.
Rugby Town were relegated from the Northern Premier League last season along with St Neots Town. We can therefore expect them to provide a stern test of our preparations for the season on the opening day. Eynesbury’s Alfred Hall Memorial Ground is familiar territory for us as we were there only recently when we played out a 1-1 draw last April. Coten Green will be making the 95-mile journey to Bridge Road after being moved laterally from the Midland league last season where they finished mid-table.
