Pre-season training got underway for our Men’s First Team last week with Mark Critoph and Matt Payne still engaged in negotiations with a few existing players and a number of potential new signings for the upcoming season. Our strong showing in the UCL Premier Division South last season has made us an attractive option for players wanting to go places in the near future and, along with the crop of talented younger players who broke into the squad last season, the management duo has a difficult selection process to complete. However, we can confirm the signing of the following players for 2026/26;
Danny Baulk, Charlie Black, Finley Edwards, Mar-Lee Fisher, Danny Gould, Joe Greenslade-Cross, Harry Hurst, Luke Kenny, Joe O’Neill and Finley Scott.
The only players from last season confirmed as having moved on are Connor Barnes (St Neots Town) Karl Saffery (Mildenhall Town), Jordan Foster (now in Australia) and Jake West.
We get our first chance to see the new squad with several trialists out to impress when we take on Royston Town of the Southern League Central Division in a friendly fixture this coming Friday 10th July with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The United Counties League fixtures list for 2026/27 has yet to be compiled but will be available to see on our social media platforms as soon as we are notified of their release.
