Another game, another dramatic injury time winner! Skipper Max York took his own personal goal tally for the season to 20 last night as he showed a captain’s calmness to slot home the penalty that gave us all three points and strengthened our position at the top of the table.
Ed Rolph had headed us in front on 51 minutes but 12 minutes later, Sam Bond’s drive from out wide on the right made it 1-1. It looked like we’d have to settle for a point until Evan Key was dragged down at the far post and York stepped up to take the spot kick.
