23 year old box to box midfielder signed in June from Stamford. Originally with Northampton Town as a Scholar Tom joined Corby Town in 2011 and enjoyed a three year spell with the Steel Men before leaving for Brackley Town in the summer of 2014. That stay proved short lived however as he moved to Stamford in September of that year and went on to complete the season with The Daniels, scoring twice in their dramatic 3-2 win over Witton Albion on the final day of last season to secure the clubs’ Step 3 status. Brian Page has been a long time admirer of McGowan and finally got his man in the summer.
