George Root

Another graduate of the Histon Scholarship Programme, George can play centrally or out wide as needed. Comfortable with the ball at his feet, the talented youngster can run at opponents and his range of passing makes him a constant threat. After graduating the Scholarship in 2014 he was set for a big season last year but an injury in pre-season set the tone for a difficult few months as he struggled to get back to 100%. This year could be the year though as he’s fit and ready to go.
