Ash completed his Scholarship in the summer of 2014 and signed his first contract with the club soon after. The young left back had been a mainstay of the club’s youth teams for some time and gained First Team experience during the 2013-14 season on loan at St Ives Town, where he excelled. He grabbed his chance to make an impression in the First Team with a Man of the Match senior debut against Leamington in March 2014 and showed he could make the step up to the First Team here at Bridge Road. A talented, no nonsense, determined defender who will make it tough for the manager to leave him out.
