Matt Green headed home what proved to be the winner on 18 minutes at Plantation Park yesterday to keep us well placed at the top of the table. The Manager was forced to make a late change to the starting lineup when Lee Smith picked up an injury in the warm up meaning Simon Swinton started whilst Pat Bexfield made his first start after 5 weeks out with a groin injury.
We had to withstand long spells of pressure in the second half as the hosts came back at us strongly but the defence stood firm and we saw the game out to record an important win and another big 3 points.
