Part Two of our double-feature show against Stowmarket Town takes place this Saturday when we return to Greens Meadow looking to avenge our defeat at the same venue six weeks ago.  On that occasion, a narrow win for the Suffolk side resulted in our elimination from the Emirates FA Cup at the first hurdle.  This time around it is the Isuzu FA Vase that brings us together for a Second Qualifying Round tie that must be decided on the day.

Our hosts on Saturday beat Huntingdon Town in the previous round of the competition, since when they have taken just one point from five Eastern Counties Premier Division games.  They currently occupy 14th place in their league table with 7 points from 8 games and a goal average of -7.

Stutes manager Chris Nunn will be hoping that midfielder Ryan Towner has recovered from the knock he suffered at Hinckley a fortnight ago, although Matty Allan and Luke Crisp may need a little longer to recover from their hamstring injuries.  Pharrell Anderson is also unlikely to be involved but Ellis Leka looks to have shaken off his injury setback following his appearance from the bench last Tuesday night.

The prize money for the winners of the game stands at £725, but the bigger prize is being one step further down the road toward a Wembley appearance in the final in May of next year.

Ground entrance at Stowmarket on Saturday will cost you £9 for adults, concessions £6, students £3 and under 16s £1.  Under 12s are admitted for free.  If the scores are level after 90 minutes the game will go straight to penalties, so any supporters on medication for a heart condition are advised to bring an extra supply with them.

We know that a good number of our supporters will travel to the game and the team very much appreciate your support.  If you are travelling by car you can set your satnav to Bury Road, IP14 1JQ.
