TODAY’S GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO A WATERLOGGED AFTER INSPECTION BY THE MATCH REFEREE.
Weather permitting, we are back in action at The Bridge tomorrow afternoon when Lutterworth Town are our visitors.
The Swifts are in a comfortable mid-table position at the moment and form is up and down although a 4-3 win over promotion-chasing Newport Pagnell Town in their last outing shows that they are capable of a result against anybody on their day.
We have shown some inconsistency ourselves recently of course and will be looking to get back to winning ways in the league after back-to-back defeats away at RC Warwick and Bugbrooke. The midweek win on penalties over March Town was a welcome return to form though and manager Chris Nunn will be looking to build on that performance and result tomorrow.
We did pick up a couple of knocks on Tuesday night and physio Craig Galbraith will be working hard to get Ed Rolph and Luke Crisp through fitness tests ahead of kick-off although Harvey Bullinaria remains out. Nunny should be able to call on Will Summerfield though after the left-sided defender/midfielder returned to the club this week.
Tickets for the game are available to buy in advance on our ticket portal but we can also take cash or contactless payment at the turnstile on the day of course.
The Bar and Burger Bar will both be open as usual too with cash and contactless payment available at both. Live Premier League games will be on both before and after the game in the bar so why not come on down a bit early and stay a bit late! The Burger Bar is supplied by Histon Chop Shop whose burgers and sausages are hand made to order for the club whilst we also offer Pukka Pies, as well as chips (of course!).
Turnstiles open at 12.30pm and remember it’s a 2pm kick-off!
