Our last home game of 2017 brought us some festive cheer as goals from Ed Rolph and Shaun Jenkins were enough to secure victory against FC Clacton.
Rolph gave us the lead in the first half after a fantastic surging run from Tommy Wright down the right flank. Wright’s shot was saved by the Clacton keeper but the ball bounced up for Lee Smith to head back across goal where Rolph was waiting to nod home.
Jenkins wrapped things up in the second half with 20 minutes to go….
