Lee Smith’s fine second half free kick looked like it was going to be enough for us to progress at a windy Colney Heath yesterday afternoon until Spencer Clarke-Mardel’s header deep into added time sent the game in to 30 minutes of extra time. Skipper Max York had earlier seen red a few minutes into the second half after being judged to have brought down a Colney man on the edge of the area but it looked as if Smith’s strike on the hour was going to be enough until Clarke-Mardel’s late late equaliser sent the game into extra time and now a replay at The Glassworld on Tuesday evening.
