We went down to defeat at Brantham yesterday afternoon as we failed to find the net for only the second time this season. The game started brightly and Danny Gould was unlucky not to open the scoring early on when his shot across the keeper came back out off the post. Lamell Howell gave the hosts the lead on 15 minutes as we struggled to maintain that early momentum.
Lance made a triple substitution at half time and we dominated possession after the break but couldn’t find a way through a determined home defence and with less than a minute left on the clock Howell grabbed his second of the game to secure all three points for the home side.
