For much of our 122-year history our home ground in Bridge Road has been at the heart of our village community and beyond. It witnessed our rise to the top level of non-league football and was the focus of football fans across the nation when we knocked Leeds United out of the FA Cup. But with another new season almost upon us, our beloved Bridge Road Stadium is now entering a new era.
We are delighted to announce that in partnership with our friends from Camtech Building Products Ltd and Dutch company Caprice Baksteen our home ground will be renamed as the Camtech and Caprice Stadium. Our relationship with Camtech and Caprice has grown in recent years from a ground advertising boards arrangement into a full commercial partnership, including naming rights for the former Bridge Road Stadium. As major players in the construction industry, we share a common interest in building for the future and the backing of Camtech and Caprice will help us continue to help young talented footballers fulfil their full potential, whether it be at youth level, in the Women’s game or in the semi-professional arena. We are therefore grateful to the management teams at both companies for choosing to back us at Histon FC.
On the announcement of our new partnership, Histon FC Financial Director Paul Smart said, “Today marks another significant milestone in the continued development of Histon Football Club and I am absolutely delighted to announce this three-year stadium naming rights partnership with Camtech Limited and Caprice.
“On behalf of everyone connected with the Club, I would like to thank both companies for placing their trust and confidence in Histon Football Club. Their commitment extends far beyond financial support—it represents a shared belief in our vision, our ambitions and the important role the Club plays within our local community.
“The naming of the Camtech & Caprice Stadium is much more than a commercial agreement. It is a partnership that will help us continue investing in our facilities, support our first teams and youth development programmes and strengthen the long-term sustainability of the Club. Partnerships like this are essential in enabling us to grow while remaining true to our values.
“We look forward to working closely with both organisations and building a relationship that delivers real benefits for all parties. We are excited about the future and are proud that the Camtech & Caprice Stadium will become the home of football at Bridge Road for the next three years.”
