Now that the 2024/25 season is almost over for all Histon FC sides, may we say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to each and every member of the Histon FC SOS Club. Many of our SOS (Support Our Stutes) supporters have been members since it began almost twenty years ago. During that time, their monthly contributions helped the club through its period of financial difficulties and, more lately, contributed towards the club’s continued expansion and development, allowing us to look to the future with renewed optimism.
In the past twelve months alone, the SOS Club has contributed just under £2,400 towards the running of Histon FC. This is funds from which all sectors of the club have benefitted, from youth sides through to the Under 18s, Ladies, Reserves and First team. Members have also shared £2,540 in prize money between them following our monthly prize draws, proving that supporting the Stutes can have extra benefits!
Membership of the SOS Club is open to anyone wishing to become one of Histon FC’s elite and most respected supporters. Membership currently stands at 49 and includes a wide spectrum of Histon devotees, including all the members of the club’s Board of Directors, several past players and supporters both old and new.
