We are delighted to announce the signing of 18-year-old defender Theo Braham from Wisbech Town. The right back has appeared in the starting lineup for UCL Premier North side Wisbech on 20 occasions this season, plus a further four appearance from the bench, and has scoring one goal. He goes straight into Chris Nunn’s squad for the match against Northampton O.N. Chenecks on Saturday.
The arrival of Theo as a specialist right back fills the void left by Will Ronald’s recall by Northampton Town and the extended absence of Jake Kerins. On his latest signing, Nunny said, “He is a young player with great potential who we have heard great reports about and had watched. His addition to the squad will give us a little more strength in depth in defensive positions.”
We can also confirm that Histon FC has agreed to allow Marcus Cole to play at Soham Town Rangers on a dual registration basis. Marcus will be linking up with former Histon manager Lance Key at Julius Martin Lane. In the programme for Saturday’s game, Nunny says, “Marcus is a player I really like and I don’t want to lose, but he is at a stage where he needs more minutes on the pitch to increase his sharpness. I spoke with Lance and he is more than happy to take him, so the move should hopefully work out for all the parties involved.”
