We are pleased to announce that our First Team Management duo have succeeded in their quest to securing the signature of midfield player Louis Jenkins for the coming season. Louis is a player that M&M had identified as a key target for the 2026/27 season and his arrival at the club will be seen as a significant statement of intent in our preparations for the upcoming league campaign.
Louis is well known to our management team as he was captain of the Ely City side while Matt Payne was Assistant Manager of The Robins. He is a player that came through the Ely City youth setup, progressing all the way through to the first team where he made over 120 appearances. He made the step up to play in the Isthmian League with Newmarket Town last season before returning to Ely to help his former side secure third place in the Eastern Counties League Premier Division. He now comes to Bridge Road looking to help The Stutes emulate Ely City by reaching the end of season play-offs.
Louis joins defender Bradley Marriott and striker Ryan Sharman as new additions to the squad, and we hope to be able to announce at least one more newcomer with experience of playing in the UCL Premier Division South in the next few days. So, be sure to check in with this website again soon.
