We are back at Bridge Road on Tuesday night for the first home game of our 2025/26 United Counties League campaign.  Lining up against the Stutes are March Town United, who we met three times in all competitions last season with the Hares winning twice and the third meeting ending all square.  Both ourselves and March won our opening game of the season, although March left it until the 78th minute before finding the only goal of the game in their home win over Lutterworth Town.

For Histon, the game is an early opportunity for us to measure our progress against a side that made the play-offs last season.  After finishing fourth in the table, March lost to Rugby Borough at the semi-final stage of the competition but went on to lift the Cambs FA Invitation Cup after defeating the Stutes along the way.

Our win at Bugbrooke St Michaels on Saturday will have given Nunny’s side a lift ahead of Tuesday night’s game.  The manager opted to start that game with three of his new additions to the squad.  The returning Mar-Lee Fisher played on one flank with Joe Greenslade-Cross on the other.  Jake West also made his debut between the sticks.  But impressive second half performances from Jake Holman, Alex Stevens-Lee and Dawid Siek mean some difficult decisions will need to be made prior to the 7.45pm kick-off.

Admission prices at Bridge Road have been frozen since last season, so it’s £10 for adults, £6 concessions and £2 for 12 to 17-year-olds.  The usual food outlets will be open for those wishing to dine inside the stadium and the bar will be open from 6.00pm.

Don’t forget that you can still buy a season ticket ahead of the game.  For details go to 2025/26 Season Ticket – Histon FC of see Howard Wilkins at the ground on the night.
