The Board of Histon FC can confirm that Chris Nunn has agreed to come back to the club to take up the mangers position and move the club forward. Chris left last season due to extreme work pressures and he felt that he could not give the club the commitment it deserved. That has now changed and Chris wants to finish what he started and has committed to the role for future years. Chris will confirm his management team in due course
The Board would like to express their thanks to Matt Payne & Nick Hurst for all their hard work in rebuilding the team, particularly after losing most of last years players at the start of this season. It has been a really tough ask and this has been reflected in the difficult start to the season.
The club also really appreciates that the last couple of months has caused a lot of frustration for our loyal supporters but everyone at the club is working hard to improve the position and work our way back up the league. I trust that we will all pull together and give the support Chris will need.
