Starting this week, and for the duration of the 2020/21 season, first team captain Max York will be writing a weekly column for Stutes fans in which he will be sharing his views on everything relating to Histon FC. With over 200 appearances for the club and 46 goals to his name, few people can feel the vibes within the camp better than Max and his insight into life in the dressing room and on the training ground promises to be fascinating for Stutes fans new and old.
Our leader on the pitch will be bringing us news on activities surrounding the first team squad including his views on results and performances, injury updates, match previews and perhaps even a few fitness tips for developing younger players and the lapsed athletes among us.
Max’s first article will appear in the matchday programme for Tuesday night’s match against Soham Town Rangers (front cover pictured) with future reports appearing weekly either in the matchday programme or on the club website, depending on fixture schedules.
Your matchday programme for 2020/21 will again include Lance’s message to fans, a view from the Boardroom, the latest news and stats from around the Pitching In Isthmian League and the latest news on our Ladies, Youth and various junior teams.
