Wivenhoe Town v Histon
Saturday 26th August 2017
Kick Off @ 3;00pm

We go to Wivenhoe this afternoon looking to maintain our unbeaten start to the league campaign and keep ourselves in amongst the early pace setters at the top of the table.

Our hosts have won one of their four opening league games so far, that victory coming away at Fakenham Town last Saturday. Their home games however have seen defeats at the hands of Wroxham and Brantham Athletic so they will be keen to register their first home points of the season at our expense today.

Histon Gaffer Lance Key was pleased with Tuesday’s 3-1 win over Long Melford although he acknowledged that the vistors had deserved to take the lead before we finally clicked into gear and scored the goals that secured the points.

On a busy Bank Holiday weekend, after today’s game we are back at The Glassworld on Monday afternoon when we host Godmanchester Rovers in a 3:00pm kick off.
