Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Saturday 20th April 2019
Kick Off @ 3:00pm

With just a week left to go until the end of a long and memorable season, our penultimate away game takes us to Whitton United’s King George V Fields this afternoon.

After promotion last season The Greens have had a solid season and occupy 12th place in the table with 44 points frm their 35 games so far. The recent fixture list hasn’t been easy for them with games against Stowmarket (twice), Walsham, Wroxham and Woodbridge all in the last three weeks and most recently a 3-3 home draw with bang in form Newmarket last weekend, coming back from 3 down with 20 minutes to go to claim a point. 20 goal striker Jamie Cole was on the score sheet twice in that game and has scored in all of their last three outings so will be a threat up front as our hosts aim to take all three points from their last home game of the season before trips to Woodbridge and Haverhill next week.

Lance will be without Rob Ruddy again for today’s game although the defender is expected to be back in contention for Tuesday’s visit of Newmarket Town to The Glassworld. Other than that the Gaffer reports no new injury concerns and should have a full squad to choose from.
