Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Friday 15th February 2019
Kick Off @ 7:45pm
Tomorrow night sees us back in action for the third time in six days as we travel to Thetford Town in the league.
Our two games against Town last season yielded us just a single point, which came at Mundford Road in April when a Dan Brown double got us a draw. Town had already taken all three points home with them from The Glassworld the previous month thanks to a 1-0 win.
This season has Town in lower mid-table in the league but they are in good form and have won their last three games against Gorleston, Framlingham Town and Norwich United respectively. Valter Rocha has found the net an impressive 22 times already this season and Town have this week made defender Jonathan Carver’s loan move from Stowmarket permanent.
Our own form has been pretty good of late too of course and the squad will go into this one in confident mood having seen off Soham comfortably in the CIC on Tuesday night to book a date with Ely City in the final at Cambridge Utd FC on 10th April. Lance was able to juggle his squad around a bit on Tuesday and will likely make one or two changes again tomorrow although he is still without Matt Green who sits out the final game of his three game suspension.
Driving time from The Glassworld Stadium approx: 45 minutes (35 miles).
