We’re on the road again today as we travel to the Sir Halley Stewart Field to take on Spalding United for a Bank Holiday Monday league game, 3pm kick off.
The Tulips have started their season well with two wins from their first three games along with a 3-0 win over Brantham Athletic in the FA Cup. Their 2-1 opening day win over Loughborough Dynamo at their own ground was followed by a 1-3 reverse at Yaxley before a 2-1 win against Corby Town at Steel Park on Saturday doubled their points tally for the season.
Lance will take his evolving squad into this one on the back of Saturday’s battling 1-1 draw with Sutton Coldfield Town at the The Bridge and last Tuesday night’s win at Wisbech Town. New signings Lewis Williams and Ulijah Gordon-Douglas both did well on their debuts on Saturday with the latter picking up the Man of the Match award and Lance will be looking for the team to build on those recent good results.
