Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Saturday 29th September 2018
Kick Off @ 3:00pm
Tomorrow we welcome Wroxham to The Glassworld Stadium and after wins against Whitton United and Walsham Le Willows in the last week Lance will be aiming for three in a row tomorrrow.
Wednesday’s game was a tough test as Walsham came back from 2 down to give us a scare but Matt Green’s strike ten minutes from time proved to be enough to secure the points.
Last season’s games against Wroxham were tight affairs. On the opening day we drew 0-0 at their place and at The GW in February Ed Rolph’s 72nd minute strike was all that seperated the sides.
The Yachtsmen are 6th in the league currently with 13 points from 8 games. A 0-5 defeat at Godmanchester on day 1 got their season off to a poor start but they recovered well, winning three of their next four although last Saturday’s 0-1 reverse at the hands of Woodbridge Town will have been a disappointment.
Lance reports one or two minor knocks within the squad following Wednesdays game but expects to have the same squad available for tomorrow.
Kick Off is at 3.00pm
