Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Saturday 2nd March 2019
Kick Off @ 3:00pm

We’re at The Glassworld again tomorrow as we welcome Stowmarket Town for what will be our third home league game in a week (with another against Gorleston on Tuesday evening to come).

As expected, Town are in amongst it at the top of the table again this season after their third place finish last year. Currently 4th with 49 points from 26 games they are certainly not out of it this year and their good form has seen them lose only once in their last 12 league games. Josh Mayhew is once again amongst the goals with 20 so far but Oliver Canfer isn’t far behind on 18.

Our visitors doubled us last season winning 2-0 at the Glassworld in September 2017 before beating us 2-1 at their place in April. We’ve fared better this year and took a point from Greens Meadow in October, Ed Rolph giving us a first half lead before we were pegged back in the second half.

Lance will no doubt ponder his team selection again as the games keep coming quickly. James Chivers’ groin injury meant he was replaced in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s dramatic win over Brantham by Sheldon Weinman and the defender will face a fitness test tomorrow. Other than that the manager reports the rest of the squad to be fit and available for selection.

Kick Off @ 3:00pm.
